I acknowledge that I, the individual completing this form, am at least nineteen (19) years of age. I further acknowledge the individuals I am registering are myself, my spouse and/or my dependent(s) (any and all Registrants) for the Santa Run (the Event).
I hereby fully acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the Event, including without limitation, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, death, theft, damage and/or loss of personal property/equipment, involved in or arising out of participation in the Event.
I hereby fully acknowledge and assume all risks for sickness or potential contraction of a communicable disease resulting from direct or indirect contact with other participants, volunteers, race personnel, contract service providers, employees, and spectators.
I hereby fully acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the effects of the weather, including extreme conditions such as high heat and/or humidity or freezing cold temperatures, snow, rain, ice, and the conditions of the road including surrounding terrain.
By registering any and all Registrants, I represent that all individuals are medically able to perform in this Event and have the necessary training, skill and experience to participate in the Event.
I hereby further consent to the use of photographs, video or any record, and name image or likeness of any and all Registrants at this Event for publicity and/or promotion purposes to the Omaha Sports Commission, The Blackstone District and the Event sponsors.
I understand that the event does not provide refunds for this event and by agreeing to this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund should any and all Registrants no longer participate, the event is cancelled before or during the event, or for any other reasons deemed necessary by the Event Organizers.
Having read this waiver and by completing my registration, I, for any and all Registrants release, waive and covenant not to sue, and further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Omaha Sports Commission, The Blackstone District, City of Omaha, race personnel, volunteers, contract services providers, employees, and event sponsors from any and all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the Event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
